DISC PLAYBACK – CONVENIENCE FUNCTIONS

The sound is muted for the picture search, slow motion and freeze- frame functions.

Depending on the disc in use, some of these functions may be unavailable.

Selecting titles and chapters

If a disc has multiple titles or chapters you can select them separately.

Selecting titles and chapters step by step

1During playback, select the title or chapter by pressing »6« or »5«.

Selecting titles and chapters directly

1During playback, press »➞•« to open the input option (title or chapter) you want.

2Enter the title or chapter using »1…0« and press »OK« to confirm.

– Playback starts with the selected title or chapter.

Selecting a section to the nearest minute

1During playback, press »➞•« several times to open the time display.

2Enter the playing time in five digits (hours, minutes and seconds) using »1…0« and press »OK« to confirm.

–The HDD DVD recorder locates the section and starts play- back.

Selecting functions in the playback menu

1During playback, press »DISPL« or »OK« twice.

– The playback menu appears.

2Select the item by pressing »A« or »S« and activate it with »s«.

3Select the function you want by pressing »A« or »S« and press »OK« to confirm.

4Switch off the repeat menu with »a« or »DISPL«.

Pausing and resuming playback

You can pause the playback of a DVD at any point and then resume from the same place.

1To pause playback, press »7« once.

2Press »8« to resume playback at the point where it was pause.
