This function tells you about the HDD archive memory (total memory, memory already assigned and the memory still available) and the number of titles stored.

1Press »SET UP« to open the setup menu.

2Select »SETUP-MENU – ARCHIVE SETTINGS« ( Hard disc Space Managemnt) with »S« or »A« and press »OK« to confirm.

3Select »Hard disc info« with »S« or »A« and activate with »OK«.

– The information appears.

4Press »OK« to switch off the information.

5Press »SET UP« to quit the menu.

This setting allows you to specify whether you delete old recordings automatically or manually if there is not sufficient memory for new recordings in the HDD archive.

Select »Automatically« – and the oldest recordings stored will be automatically deleted to make space for new ones.

Select »Manually« – and before new recordings can be saved, those already stored in the HDD archive are deleted manually.

Note:

Protected recordings in the HDD archive are not deleted.

1Press »SET UP« to open the setup menu.

2Select »SETUP-MENU – ARCHIVE SETTINGS« ( Organising the hard disc) with »S« or »A« and press »OK« to confirm.

3Select »Hard disc Space Management« with »S« or »A« and activate with »OK«.

4Select »Automatically« or »Manually« and press »OK« to con- firm.

5Press »OK« to confirm the function.

6Press »SET UP« to quit the menu.
