If you do not want to use the date and time broadcast by a tele- vision station, you can set it manually.

		1		Press »SET UP« to open the setup menu.
Auto		2		Select »SETUP-MENU – DATE/TIME« (	) with »S« or
P001/BBC				»A« and press »OK« to confirm.
01	02	2006	3	Select »Date« with »S« or »A« and	press »OK« to

				confirm.
				Enter the date in six digits with »1…0« and press »OK« to
				confirm.

4Select »Time« with »S« or »A« and press »OK« to confirm.

Enter the time in four digits with »1…0« and press »OK« to confirm.

5Press »SET UP« to complete the setting.

You can adjust the HDD DVD recorder so that it can be operated with a remote control from another Grundig device.

1Press »SET UP« to open the setup menu.

2Select »SETUP-MENU – PREFERENCES« ( ) with »S« or »A« and press »OK« to confirm.

3Select »Remote Control Type« with »S« or »A« and press »OK« to activate.

4Select the remote control type with »S« or »A« and press »OK« to confirm.

–The HDD DVD recorder can now be operated with another remote control. The HDD DVD recorder no longer responds to its own remote control.

5Press »SET UP« to complete the setting.

Note:

If you want to operate the HDD DVD recorder with its own remote control again, you have to open the main menu with »6« (press and hold down) on the device.

Activate the setup menu using the menu buttons (»5«, »6«, »PROG +«, »PROG –« and »7«) on the device and set the remote control type to »HDD DVD recorder«.
