Before removing the keyboard, follow these steps:
1.Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3.Disconnect all external devices from the computer.
4.Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 28).
5.Remove the hard drive (see Hard drive on page 36).
6.Remove the fan (see Fan on page 45).
7.Remove the heat sink (see Heat sink on page 46).
8.Remove the battery (see Battery on page 49).
9.Remove the system board (see System board on page 59).
Remove the keyboard:
1.Remove the 16 Phillips PM2.0×3.0 screws that secure the keyboard to the top cover.
