SituationSolution

Display is blank and internal fans are not running.

Make sure that the printer power is on. Press all the keys to see if one is stuck; contact your HP service representative if this does not work.

Printer display is in the	Reconfigure the control panel display language. See the
wrong language or	getting started guide, or press and hold SELECT while
displays unfamiliar	simultaneously pushing the power switch ON. Hold SELECT
characters.	until SELECT LANGUAGE appears, then release SELECT. Use
	the VALUE - and VALUE + keys to select the desired language.
	Press SELECT to save your selection. Press GO. The control
	panel display will indicate the printer is ready to use. If the
	new language does not appear in the display, you may not
	have pressed SELECT to save your new selection.
