Paper jams and paper feeding problems.

!See page 209 for instructions.

!Make sure that paper specifications are within the recommended range (page 390).

!Verify that the paper type configured in the printer control panel for Tray 4 matches the paper loaded in Tray 4 (page 98).

!A tray might have been pulled out during printing.

!Check cables and connectors between the tray and the printer. See page 292 for cabling configurations.

!Remove and reconnect the power cord if it is not firmly plugged into the computer.

!Make sure trays are correctly loaded.

!Make sure the paper guides are adjusted properly and not skewed (page 98).

!Perform preventive maintenance if requested by the printer.
