Purging Configuration Information from Memory

The information about your setup and base station entered into the Configuration Information Menu can be saved in memory. This data is loaded automatically when you re-run the Software. In some instances however, you might wish to use default data. If so, you must clear your saved values from memory. This procedure describes steps for manually purging the memory.

Data previously saved to a RAM disk.

1From the main menu, choose the Configuration Information Menu.

2Scroll down to Purge Info From Memory and press the knob. The purging process takes only a fraction of a second. The next time the Software is run, the Configuration Information Menu will be loaded with default values.

3To return to the main menu level, press the Main Menu (k5) key.

The fact that configuration information has been purged from memory is shown

 

in the Configuration Information Menu whenever you purge the data

 

manually, using the steps outlined above.
