This chapter provides introductory information about parameters. T o get help on any parameter not found in this book, use the MPE/iX online help facilit y described in the book, Task Reference (B3813-90009).

Each command in this book is presen ted in alphabetical order and con tains the following information:

Command

Provides the command name at the top of eac h page, followed

by a brief de￿nition.

Syntax

Provides a diagram that sho ws how to enter the command and

 

its parameters.

Explains each parameter including its function, limitations, and

 

defaults.

Explains how to use the command and ma y also include

advisory information, suc h as requirements, restrictions, and

Includes examples of ho w to use the command.
