JOB

The JOB command is used in conjunction with the STREAM command. You can create an input job ￿le that con tains the JOB command. This ￿le de￿nes a batch job that you submit with the STREAM command. The JOB command initiates the batc h processing and m ust be the ￿rst command line in the job ￿le.

Syntax

JOB 2 jobname, 3username2 /userpass 3.acctname2 /acctpass 3 2 ,groupname2 /grouppass 33

Parameters

 

 

jobname

Speci￿es an arbitrary name used with username and acctname

 

parameters to form a job iden tity. The name must contain

 

from one to eight alphanumeric characters, beginning with

 

an alphabetic character. The default is that no job name is

 

assigned.

username

Speci￿es your user name, established b y your system

 

administrator, that enables y ou to log on to this accoun t. The

 

name must contain from one to eigh t alphanumeric characters,

 

beginning with an alphabetic c haracter.

userpass

Speci￿es your user passw ord, optionally assigned b y your

 

system administrator. The passw ord must contain from one to

 

eight alphanumeric characters, beginning with an alphabetic

 

character. If y ou have a password but you do not supply it in

 

the command syntax, the STREAM command prompts for it if

 

you:
