A typical ACD consisting of three A CD pairs migh t look like

This ACD would allow Read and Write access to the ENGR user

 

 

of the MFG account; Read and Write access to an y user of the

 

 

MRKT account along with the abilit y to read or copy the ACD;

 

 

and Read access to an y user in any account.

^￿lereference A ￿le containing one or more A CD pairs. ACD pairs must be separated by semi-colons and ma y be placed on separate lines. A single ACD pair may not span more than one line.

The ￿le name must be preceded by the ^ sign (caret sym bol) to indicate that the designated ￿le con tains the ACD de￿nition. This is known as an indirect ￿le.

The ALTSEC command fails if the indirect ￿le does not con tain a syntactically correct A CD. ACD pairs may be on separate lines, but a pair ma y not span lines. P arentheses are optional when de￿ning an acdpair within an indirect ￿le.
