Creating EVWEB Event Subscriptions

You can create event subscriptions for the WBEM indications you are interested in monitoring. You can create the following types of event subscriptions using EVWEB:

Admin-Defined event subscriptions – Event Subscriptions created using the fmdcontrol command are called Admin-Defined event subscriptions. You can modify and delete Admin-Defined event subscriptions using the fmdcontrol command. You cannot use the evweb_list, evweb_subscribe, or the evweb_eventviewer command to create and delete Admin-Defined event subscriptions. For more information on the fmdcontrol command, see “Configuring Indication Filters” on page 40.
