Tracing EVWEB
NOTE |
| The Enable Tracing option is not displayed if tracing is already enabled. |

| Instead, Disable Tracing and Modify Tracing options are displayed. |

|
Step | 6. | Set the trace level by selecting the level in the Trace Level list. |
Step | 7. | Select Enable Tracing. |
|
| The tracing level is set and a confirmation message is displayed. |
Step | 8. | Click OK on the confirmation message window. |
|
| For more information on enabling tracing using the HP SMH GUI, select |
|
| Help on the action pane of either the Event Viewer or the Event |
|
| Subscription Administration page. |

| Enabling Tracing Using EVWEB CLI |
|
| To enable tracing using EVWEB CLI, you must export the environment |
|
| variable, EVWEB_TRACE_LEVEL. At the |
|
| following command: |
|
| # EXPORT EVWEB_TRACE_LEVEL=<trace value> |
|
| Tracing is now enabled. The trace value refers to the trace level that |
|
| you want to set. |
|
| Modifying Tracing Using EVWEB GUI |
|
| To modify tracing, complete the following steps: |
Step | 1. | Log in to the System Management Homepage. |
|
| To log in to HP SMH, enter http://<hostname>: 2301 in the address |
|
| bar of a Web browser. The HP SMH login screen is displayed. |
Step | 2. | Enter your user name and password in the appropriate text boxes. |
Step | 3. | Click Sign In on the login screen. |
|
| The HP SMH home page is displayed. |
