Back Panel Reference

AC ~ In. (Connects to A/C power.) Use only the power cord supplied with your

HUMAX DVD Recorder.

Phone Jack. (Connects to phone cord.) The Recorder uses the phone line to get program information and other data from the TiVo service.

Control Out/Serial. (Connects to cable or satellite box; not available on all cable or satellite boxes.) Allows the Recorder to change channels on a cable or satellite box.

	Control Out/IR. (Connects to cable or satellite box; IR stands for infrared.) This
