Date Format

(Advanced, International only)

Date Format changes the date forma t used by the u nit. This m enu option is available in I nternational Models only an d when th e User Mode is set to Advanced (see Main Menu: User Mode).

Date Format selects the format for the datedisplay whenTime + Date is selected as a Digital Readout on the Sonar View (see Setup Menu Tab: Select Readouts).

To change the Date Format:

1. Make sure t he Us er Mode is set to Adva nced, th en highligh t D ate Format on the Setup main menu.

2.Press t he LEFT or RIG HT Curs or ke ys to c hange t he Date Forma t. (mm/dd/yy, dd.mm.yy or yy.mm.dd, Default = mm/dd/yy)

NMEA Output

(Advanced)

NMEA Output turns the NMEA* output on or off. This menu option is available when the User Mode is set to Advanced (see Main Menu: User Mode).

NMEA Output should be turned On if y ou connect the NMEA Output wires of the GP S Re ceiver cable to anoth er NMEA-com patible d evice, such as an autopilot.

*NMEA 0183 is a N ational M arine El ectronics Asso ciation s tandard fo r dat a communication.

The following NMEA sentences are output when NMEA Output is turned On:
