Inserting an MMC/SD

into the Card Slot

The multi-media card (M MC)/SD s lot o n y our control head can be used with MMC/SD cards (optional-purchase re quired) t o a dd detail ed charts to your F ishfinder or expo rt n avigation data from your Fishfinder.

NOTE: The MMC/SD Cards require a separate purchase. For more information, visit our web site at www.humminbird.com or contact our CustomerResource Center at 1-800-633-1468.

To insert an MMC/SD card:1.Remove the MMC/SD slot cover.

2.Position the MMC/SD card so that the label faces the right side of the unit, and insert the card into the slot. Press down on the ca rd until it clicks into place.

3.Close the s lot cover and turn the kn ob just 1/4 of a turn to close. Do NOT o vertighten, as this will not im prove water resista nce and may damage the cover.

To remove an MMC/SD card:

1.Remove the MMC/SD slot cover.

2.Press the M MC/SD card into the slo t and t hen release. The c ard will eject from the slot.

Adding Maps to Your Fishfinder

Your 500 Series™ Fishfinderincludes a built-in UniMap™.You can also purchase MMC/SD cards with additional chartinformation for a particular location.

When you install t he MMC/SD c ards in your control h ead, your 500 Seri es™ Fishfinder w ill retrieve that chart and di splay it automatically (see Multi-Media Card MMC/SD).
