Using the
Physical Port List
panel, you may configure a

name

for each LAN port.
To configure a particular entry, select the entry and press the Enter key. A
pop-up menu as shown in Figure 148 on page 259 will be displayed which
allows you:
•To configure a name for the physical port.
•To configure a new protocol for the port. This option is only available for the
WAN ports.
•To change the configuration of the protocol on the port. This option is only
available for the token-ring and WAN ports. It is not applicable to Ethernet
ports.
Note: This pop-up menu is the same as that displayed when selecting
Physical Port Protocol Parameters
from the

Port Menu
