This panel allows you to configure the transparent bridging parameters for
each port. Note that the information on the screen applies to the port
identified on the top left corner of the panel. You can select the desired port
by using
Search Port
,
Prev Port
and
Next Port
options from the
Menu Bar
.
To be able to perform bridging on each port, you must enable the
Bridging
Facility
for that port.
Optionally, you may modify the following parameters for each port,
depending on the filtering and security requirements of your network.
Security Mode
If
enabled
, the module searches the filtering database for the destination
address of each packet to be bridged. If the address is not fixed
(manually entered by the user), the packet is discarded. If the address is
fixed, the packet is forwarded on the appropriate port.
