Use this page to create a custom Port Trigger:

Field

Description

Name

Enter the unique name for the Port Triggers. This is typically the protocol.

Enable

Select the checkbox to enable the custom Port Triggers you are creating.

Protocol

Enter the transport protocol used by the Port Triggers. The transport protocol can be TCP or UDP.

Port Range

Enter the port range used by the Port Triggers. The first field is the start of the range the second field

(From:To)

is the end of the range.

Session

Enter session chaining if it is appropriate for the custom application you are configuring. Certain

applications may open up one or more ports in different port ranges to operate properly. The

 

selections are Disable, TCP, or TCP/UDP.

Session Interval Enter the session interval appropriate for the custom application you are configuring. If the Port Triggers detects traffic on the port range within the session interval, it is considered to be traffic related to the initial session. If the Port Triggers detects traffic on the port range after the session interval expires, it is considered to be a new, and unique session.

Address

Enter the address replacement method appropriate to the custom application you are configuring.

Replace

 

Multi Host

Enter multiple host support if it is appropriate for the custom application your are configuring.

Port Triggers

Displays a list of all Port Triggers you have defined and their configuration parameters.

Select the port to have a priority status.
