B Access the Confirmation screen.

Perform steps A and B of “Manual Channel Set” on page 99.C Select the position.

Press rt w e to select the channel position broadcasting scrambled programmes, then press ENTER twice.

D Change the decoder setting.

APress rt to select “DECODER”, then press ENTER. B Press rt to set “DECODER” to “ON”, then press

ENTER.

E Return to the Confirmation screen.Press RETURN.Repeat steps C E as necessary.F Close the Confirmation screen.

Press SET UP twice.

INFORMATION

If you live in Eastern Europe, “TV SYSTEM” setting appears instead of “DECODER” setting on the Manual Channel Set screen. When you can see the picture but can hear no audio, select appropriate TV system (D/K or B/G). Normally, TV programmes are broadcast as follows.

For Eastern Europe : D/KFor Western Europe : B/G

ASelect a country in Eastern Europe in step C on page 98. B Press rt to select “TV SYSTEM” in step D on page 100. C Press rt to select appropriate TV System (D/K or B/G).

Set Stations (A)Set station names that are registered in your unit.

Perform steps A and B of “Manual Channel Set” on page 99 to access the Confirmation screen before continuing.

A Select the item.

Press rt w e to select the item you want.B Access the Manual Channel Set screen.

Press ENTER twice.

C Select the new station.APress rt to select “ID”, then press ENTER.

BPress rt until the new station’s name (ID) you want to store appears, then press ENTER. Registered station names ( pg. 103, “TV Station And ID List”) appear as you press rt.

D Switch the stations.Press w e to select “OK”, then press ENTER.Repeat steps A D as necessary.E Close the Confirmation screen.

Press SET UP twice.
