Manual Dubbing (From VHS To DVD)

1 For DVD deck

 

 

 

 

Load a recordable disc.

Dubbing A Part Of A Cassette

Load a cassette you want to dub.

 

 

 

2 Press VHS] to select the dubbing direction.

You can dub the selected scenes on a tape to the DVD disc,

4 Prepare the VHS deck for dubbing.

During still picture on the VHS deck, the images may jitter, but this is not a malfunction.

5 Prepare the DVD deck for dubbing.

APress VHS/DVD on the unit repeatedly or DVD on the remote control so that the DVD lamp lights up on the unit.

B Press REC MODE repeatedly to set the recording mode.

C Press and hold 7, then press 9 so that the DVD deck enters the Record Pause mode.

6 Press and hold DUBBING for more than 3 seconds to start dubbing.

7 Press 8 to stop recording on the DVD deck. Then press VHS, and press 8 to stop playback on the VHS deck.

After dubbing is completed, press VHS] so that “]” lights off. If it is not done, recording on the DVD deck is not possible.

NOTES:

It is not possible to dub a tape with a copy protection signal.

If there is no remaining recording time left on a DVD disc, the tape automatically stops at that position.

During Manual Dubbing, if either the VHS deck or DVD deck is stopped, the other deck is not stopped automatically.

It is not possible to perform other operations like Live Memory Playback. Check the recorded programme on the disc after dubbing.
