Tape Remaining Indicator

The time remaining on the tape is automatically monitored and displayed in the viewfinder (pg. 66). When the tape ends, “TAPE END” appears in the viewfinder.

Re Shoot A Scene

If you aren’t pleased with a scene you just recorded (after having checked it in the viewfinder), you can easily return to the beginning and record it again.

1 ENGAGE RECORD/STANDBY MODE Press RECORDING START/STOP, then press RE SHOOT. The tape returns automatically to the starting point of the most recent recording, and the camcorder enters RECORD/STANDBY mode.

•If, after the tape has rewound to the beginning of the scene, you decide you don’t need to re-record, press CAN. The tape auto- matically fast-forwards to the end of the scene.

Stable Shooting Positions

Before pressing RECORDING START/ STOP, ZOOM or SNAP SHOT, be sure to hold the camcorder with both hands.

Feet set slightly apart with your body turned toward the subject
