Express Timer

Programming

You can programme this recorder to timer-record as many as 16
programmes.
If you do not know the SHOWVIEW number for the programme
you wish to record, use the following procedure to set your
recorder to timer-record the programme.
ATurn on the recorder.
Press 1.
BLoad a cassette.
Insert a VHS (or S-VHS) cassette with the record safety
tab intact.
CAccess the programme screen.
APress PROG.
BPress w e to move the arrow to PROGRAMME, then
press OK.
When PROGRAMME FULL DELETE UNWANTED TIMER
PROGRAMME appears on the TV screen, you need to cancel
some of the currently set programmes. (pg. 50)
DSelect the programme date.
Press w r e t to move the arrow to the desired date,
then press OK.
ESelect the recording deck.
APressr t to move the arrow to RECORD TO, then
press OK.
BPress r t to select HDD or VHS, then press OK.
FSet the start time and stop time of the

programme.

APress t to move the arrow to START or STOP,
then press OK.
BPress r t to select the desired time, then press OK.
GSelect the channel position.
APress t to move the arrow to TV PROG, then press
OK.
BPress r t to select the desired channel, then press
OK.
If you want to set a satellite programme, press the number key
0 to change TV PROG to SAT, then press VCR PR+/–.
CPress t to move the cursor to CONFIRM, then press
OK.
HSet the recording speed.
APress r t to move the arrow to REC MODE, then
press OK.
DPress r t to select the desire mode, then press OK.
Before performing Express Timer Programming:
Make sure that the recorders built-in clock is set properly.
Turn on the TV and select the AV mode.
Slide TV/CABLE/SAT switch to the right.
