You can use your video recorder as the source player or the recording deck.

	MAKE CONNECTIONS
	Connect the player’s 21-pin SCART connector to the
	recorder’s 21-pin SCART connector as shown in the
1 illustration on page 49.
	When Using Your Video Recorder As The Source
	Player . . .
	. . . connect its AV1 ENTREE/SORTIE connector to the
	recording deck.
	When Using Your Video Recorder As The Recording
	Deck . . .
.	. . . connect its AV2 ENTREE/DECODEUR connector to
	the source player.
	● Set "SELECTION AV2" to "AUX" (☞ pg. 49).

	SET RECORDING DECK’S
2	INPUT MODE
	Set to AUX. With this video recorder, press NUMBER
	key "0" and/or CHAINE to select “AU-2” for the AV2
	ENTREE/DECODEUR connector.

3	START SOURCE PLAYER
	Engage its Play mode.
4	START RECORDING DECK
	Engage its Record mode.

IMPORTANT

Before you start editing, be sure to select the appropriate colour system by pressing SYSTEME COULEUR depending on the system of the connected recorder or camcorder. ☞ pg. 51
