Turn on the TV and select the AV mode.

MULTI-FONCTIONS

You can choose whether or not to have various operational indicators appear on screen, by setting this function ON or OFF.

TURN ON THE RECORDER

1 Press		.
	ACCESS MENU PRINCIPAL
	SCREEN
2 Press MENU twice.
	ACCESS AUTRES
	REGLAGES SCREEN
	Move the highlight bar (pointer) to "AUTRES
	REGLAGES" by pressing MULTI-FONCTIONS%Þ, then
3 press OK.
	ENABLE/DISABLE
	ON-SCREEN DISPLAY
	The default setting is “M.”,		AUTRES REGLAGES
	so if you want on-screen
			ENR. PROG. AUTO : M.
4 displays, leave the setting
			O.S.D.	: M.
	as is and go to step 5. If		B.E.S.T.	: M.
	you don’t want the		SELECTION AV2	: AUX.
	displays to appear, press
	MULTI-FONCTIONS %Þ
	to move the highlight bar
			[5°] = [5] : M./A.
	(pointer) to "O.S.D." and		[MENU] : SORTIE
	press MULTI-
	FONCTIONS%to set “O.S.D.” to “A.”.
	RETURN TO NORMAL
	SCREEN
5 Press MENU.

NOTE:

When you use this recorder as the player for editing, be sure to set "O.S.D." to "A." before starting.

The superimposed indication on the TV screen tells you what the recorder is doing.
