You can use a password to lock your satellite receiver against unauthorised access by third parties. This protects the receiver against changes to its reception settings by unauthorised persons. At the same time, you can activate a child protection function (parental control), which bars selected programmes.
Keep your password in a safe place, so that you always have access to your programmes should you ever forget it.
The password is set to “0000” in the factory and is inactive.
Press to access the main menu.
Press to select “System Parameters” and confirm with .
Now press the buttons to select the “Parental Control” function,
and confirm by pressing . If you have set a password, you will be asked for it:
