* When using Overedge foot, make sure to set the stitch
width at 5 or more, otherwise the needle may hit the
overedge foot.
This stitch is ideal for 1/4"(0.6 cm) seams on knits or on
medium to heavy weight woven fabrics where you want a
narrow seam. It is also great for sewing spandex swim
wear. Place thefabric under the presser foot [ A] so that the
stitches are made over the raw edge.

Choose this stitch to attach elastic to garments. Mark
elastic into quarters and match these to thecenter front,
center back and side seams.
Place the middle of the elastic under the center ofthe
presser foot [ A] and stitch into place, making sure the
elastic is evenly distributed.
