Packet mixes

eco button

The eco bake setting can be used and is recommended for most ready prepared bread mixes. (Wholemeal and Granary bread mixes generally work best on Program 3 Wholewheat).

Check that the total weight of the mix does not exceed the m aximum amount your bread maker can handle.

Add the amount of water recommended by the manufacturer to the bread pan first, then add the bread mix.

For best results use lukewarm water (30-35°C) and measure the water temperature with either a thermometer or mix 25% boiling water with 75% of cold water.

If the loaf does not rise sufficiently try adding 1-2tsp of easy blen d dried yeast next time.

The timer delay is not recommended for packet mixes as you c annot separate the yeast from the liquid.

Visit the Kenwood website for more information about using bread mixes in your bread maker.
