Setting the recording mode

The MD recording mode can be set only in stop mode.

1Press the MENU key.

2Rotate the VOLUME/MULTI-CON- TROL knob so that "MD REC MODE" is displayed, then press the SET key.

The currently set recording mode is indicated.

3Rotate the VOLUME/MULTI-CON- TROL knob so that the desired re- cording mode is displayed.

: Stereo LP2 mode

 

("LP2" lit)

: Stereo LP4 mode

"MONO" : Monaural LP mode ("MONO" lit)

4Press the SET key.

The setting operation is complete if you selected "STEREO" or "MONO" in the above.

If you selected "LP2" or "LP4", the stamping setting screen will be dis- played. In this case, go to step 5.

5Rotate the VOLUME/MULTI-CON- TROL knob to select "LP:STAMP on" or "LP:STAMP off", then press the SET key.

Select "on" when you want to display "LP:" at the beginning of the track title. Select "off" is you do not want to dis- play it.
