Using Optional Speedlights

SB-series 80DX, 50DX, 28DX, and 800 AF Speedlights support D-TTL flash control when mounted on the camera hot shoe. D-TTL flash control is not available with other optional Speedlights.

The type of flash control available with SB-series 800 AF, 80DX, 50DX, and 28DX Speedlights depends on the type of lens attached:
