x Clearing Misfeeds

When “x” and “A” light

Paper misfeeds occur in the paper feed section.

RCAUTION:

•Be careful not to cut yourself on any sharp edges when you reach inside the machine to remove misfed sheets of paper or masters.

A Slowly but firmly pull out the paper.

❒ If the indicators still light, open the front cover and close it completely.

The master or paper is wrapped around the drum, or paper misfeeds occur in- side the machine.

A Lift the lever to unlock the drum unit, and then pull out the unit.

B Remove the misfed paper.
