Maintaining the Machine

To maintain high print quality, clean the following parts and units regular- ly.

Main Frame

Exposure Glass

A Lift the exposure glass cover or optional document feeder.

B Clean the exposure glass with a damp cloth and wipe it with a dry cloth.

Exposure Glass Cover

A Lift the exposure glass cover.

B Clean the exposure glass cover with a damp cloth and wipe it with a dry cloth.

Paper Feed Roller (paper feed tray)

❒If you do not clean the exposure glass, marks on the glass will be printed.

A Wipe off the paper dust on the pa- per feed roller with a damp cloth, then wipe it with a dry cloth.

❒If you do not clean the paper feed roller, paper misfeeds tend to occur.
