Note: To enable or disable a setting, touch the setting item to select or clear the check box. When a setting is enabled, a check is displayed in the check box. If other actions are required, follow the instructions on the screen.

Accounts & sync

 

Add your Google Accounts or other accounts from here by touching

 

 

ADD ACCOUNT from the top-right corner. All the added accounts are

 

 

displayed on this view. Use the switch beside ADD ACCOUNT to turn

 

 

on or turn off the auto-sycn function. For each account, touch it to

 

 

configure the synchronization settings or to remove the account.

 

 

 

Location

Google’s location

When enabled, location point applications, such as Google Map,

can use data from your Wi-Fi or mobile networks to determine your

 

 

approximate location.

 

 

 

 

GPS satellites

Enable to use your tablet’s GPS satellite receiver to pinpoint your

 

 

location to within an accuracy as close as several meters (“street

 

 

level”). GPS accuracy can be impacted by atmospheric conditions,

 

 

obstructions, and other factors.

 

 

 

 

Location & Google

Allow Google to use your location to improve search results and other

Google services.

 

 

 

Security

Screen lock

Configure the screen unlock mode. See “Locking the tablet screen”

Set whether you want to display information about yourself (such as

Encrypt tablet
