On some models, Lenovo provides you the information about the location of the FCC ID and IC Certification number label on the computer back cover assembly. The following figure shows where you can find the information about the location of the FCC ID and IC Certification number label of the computer.

Note: Lenovo authorized wireless LAN cards are allowed to be used in the computer. If you install an unauthorized PCI Express Mini Card that is not approved for use in your computer, an error message is displayed and the computer beeps when you turn on the computer.
Certificate of Authenticity label
The Certificate of Authenticity label for the preinstalled operating system is attached. Printed on this label are the product ID and the product key information for your computer. Record this information and keep it in a safe place. You might need these numbers to start your computer or reinstall the operating system.
The Certificate of Authenticity label applies only to computers preinstalled with the Windows 7 operating system.
