Removing the system board shield

Installing a memory card

Use a No. 2 Phillips screwdriver to remove the system board shield.

1 Remove the top screw and set it aside.

2 Loosen the bottom three screws, but do not remove them.

3 Slide the system board shield along the top and bottom grooves and set it aside.

Follow the instructions in this section to install either a printer memory card or, if you have a Lexmark E323 or Lexmark E323n, a flash memory card.

The system board has two connectors for optional memory cards.You can install a card in either connector.
