The correct printer port is selected.
The computer and printer are both connected to the same wirele ss network.
The printer is located away from obstacles or electronic devices that could interfere with the wireless signal.
Make sure the printer and wireless access point are not separated by poles, walls, or support columns containing
metal or concre te.
Many devices can interfere with the wireless signal, including baby m onitors, motors, cordless phones, security
system cameras, other wireless networks, and some Blu etooth devices.
Resetting the wireless settings to factory defaults
1From the printer control panel, press .
2Press the arrow buttons to scroll to Network Setup, and then press .
3Press the arrow buttons to scroll to Reset Network Adapter to Factory Default s, and then press
.
4Press the arrow buttons to scroll to Yes, and then press .
The printer wireless settings are reset to factory default settings. To verify, print a network setup page.
Cannot print over wireless network
If you encountered problems while installing, or if your printer does not appear in the printe rs folder or as a printer
option when sending a print job, then you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the software.
Before you reinstall the software, check the troubleshooting checklist, and then do the following:
TURN THE ACCESS POINT (WIRELESS ROUTER) OFF AND THEN BACK ON
Wait one minute for the printer and computer to reestabl ish the connection. This can sometimes refresh netw ork
connections and resolve connectivity issues.
DISCONNECT FROM VPN SESSION
When you are connected to another network through a VPN connection, you will not be able to access the printer
over your wireless network. End your VPN session and try printing ag ain.
MAKE SURE DEMO MODE IS TURNED OFF
Select printer features are not available when Demo Mode is turn ed on.
From the home screen, navigate to:
> Demo Mode > Off > save the setting
