Checking with Control Solution

OneTouch® Normal Control Solution contains a known amount of glucose that reacts with OneTouch® Basic®, Profile®, OneTouch® II Test Strips. Control solution should be used to practice the test procedure and to make sure your

meter and test strips are working together properly as a system.

Before you use the OneTouch® Basic® Meter to test your blood glucose for the first time, practice the procedure using control solution. When you can do three tests in a row that are within the expected range, you are ready to test your blood.
