Obtain a drop of blood from your fin- ger using the PENLET® II Automatic Blood Sampler. (See Getting a Drop of Blood, pages 28–32.)

Step 2: Apply Blood Sample.

With the test strip in the meter and

appears for a moment. Then

on the display, apply a drop of blood to the test spot.

appears for five minutes or until you apply blood to the test spot.
