TROUBLESHOOTING & REPAIR

TORCH CONTINUITY AND SOLENOID TEST

WARNING

Service and repair should be performed by only Lincoln Electric factory trained personnel. DESCRIPTION

This procedure will help the technician determine if the torch cable, consumables and elec- trode solenoid are functioning properly.

MATERIALS NEEDED

Volt/ohmmeter

12 VDC @ 1 Amp Power Supply

This procedure takes approximately 15 minutes to perform.
