The function of the four soft keys depends on the option appearing on the LCD display. When more than four functions are available, a small left or right-facing triangle (menu continuation indicator) appears at the bottom of the LCD display. This indicates that more soft key functions can be accessed by pressing the Navigation button left or right.

Figure 3-2summarizes the function of the other buttons on the telephone keypad.

To access an option, press the Setup button and press the Navigation button to select the option. Then push the left soft key beneath the Select option to select the option. To use the shortcut to an option, press the Setup button and type the number assigned to the option. The option does not have to appear on the LCD to use the shortcut. To select an option with a two-digit shortcut, press the second number within two seconds of the first number.
