Audyssey

Set Audyssey MultEQ® XT32, Audyssey Dynamic EQ®, Audyssey Dynamic Volume® and Audyssey LFC™. These can be selected after Audyssey® Setup has been performed.

0“MultEQ® XT32”, “Dynamic EQ”, “Reference Level Offset”, “Dynamic Volume”, “Audyssey LFC™”, “Containment Amount” and “Audyssey DSX®” settings are stored for each input source.

0When the sound mode is in the “Direct” or “Pure Direct” mode, “MultEQ® XT32”, “Dynamic EQ” and “Dynamic Volume” settings cannot be configured.

0This cannot be set when the input mode is set to “7.1CH IN”.

oMultEQ® XT32

MultEQ® XT32 compensates for both time and frequency characteristics of the listening area based on Audyssey® Setup measurement results. Selection is done from three types of compensation curves. It is recommended that “Reference” is selected.

Reference

Selects the default calibrated setting with

a slight roll off at high frequencies, which

(Default):

is optimized for movies.

 

L/R Bypass:

Selects the reference setting, but

bypasses MultEQ® XT32 on the front left

 

and right speakers.

 

Selects the calibrated setting which is

Flat:

optimized for small rooms where your

listening position is closer to the

 

speakers.

Off :

Turn “MultEQ® XT32” equalizer off.

When the headphones are used, “MultEQ® XT32” is automatically set to “Off”.
