Introduction

Congratulations on choosing the DSP5000C – the world’s first DSP centre-channel loudspeaker. We are confident that it will give a quality to your music that is unprecedented, and bring years of listening pleasure. This manual will enable you to get the most from it.

The DSP5000C is a sophisticated product. You should therefore read all the supplied documentation before fully installing the DSP5000C, particularly if you intend to customise its functions.

We have supplied a Getting going sheet for those of you who want to hear the speaker immediately, and then perhaps spend a little longer deciding on how best to set it up in your home.

If you are going to use the DSP5000C in a surround system based on the Meridian 565 Digital Surround Processor, then you should follow specific installation information given in its user guide.

DSP5000C can be adjusted in many ways, all of which are explained in this manual. If you have any queries regarding the DSP5000C, remember that your Meridian dealer has been selected for his expertise. You should refer to him in the first instance.
