How to calculate the check digit value:

Example:

Message: 14356

Add the odd positions: 1 + 3 + 6 = 10

Multiply by 3 = 30

Add the even positions. 30 + 4 + 5 = 39

The check digit is the complement to the next ten: CK = 40 – 39 = 1

The printed message will be: 143561
