Cleaning and care
Cleaning the filters in the water inlet
For the protection of the inlet valve, filters are incorporated in the screw connection of the water inlet hose. The filters must be cleaned when dirty, otherwise insufficient water flows into the wash cabinet.
The plastic housing of the water con- nection contains an electrical compo- nent. It must not be immersed in water.
To clean the filters
Disconnect the machine from the mains supply (switch off at the main socket and pull out the plug, switch off the appropriate circuit at the fuse box or switch off the mains fuse).
Turn off the stopcock and unscrew the water inlet hose.
Replace filter and seal. Make sure they are sitting correctly.
Screw back into place on the water inlet, taking care that the connection goes back on straight.
Open the stopcock carefully. If there is a leak, screw the connections on more tightly.
