3) Control sequence
(1) A command is sent from the computer to th e monitor. (Commands should be sent at interva ls of at least 600 ms.)
(2) The monitor sends a return command w ithin 600 ms* after receiving and en coding the command. If the monitor fails to
receive the command, it doesn’t send any return c ommand.
(3) The computer checks the return com mand to see that the command it sent was exec uted or not.
(4) The monitor sends various code s other than the return code. While RS-232C con trol sequence is in progress, reje ct other
codes on the personal computer sid e.
*: Transmission of the return command may be delayed du ring signal switchover, etc.

4) Operation commands
The operation commands confi gure the basic operation settings of this LCD m onitor. The commands may not work during signal
switchover.
The operation commands have no data cod es.

After sending the POWER ON or POWER OFF command, wait for at least 1 minu te to send the next command.
After sending any of the video input selection command s, wait for at least 10 seconds to send the next co mmand.
5) Read command
The computer sends the command witho ut datacode to the monitor.
After receiving this command, the moni tor returns the command with datacode i ncluding the current status to the compu ter.
Example: When the computer asks the power s tatus of the monitor, and the status of the monitor is power ed-on.
