Settings

4To change the date format:

Press S to highlight Date Format, and press C under CHANGE to access the Date Format screen.

Press S to highlight the date format you want. Press C under SELECT.

5To turn the time and date format on or off:

Press R to highlight Display, and press C under CHANGE to access the Display screen.

Press S to choose Off or On. Press C under SELECT.

Setting Auto Redial

When Auto Redial is set to On, if you receive a System Busy or Try Later message while making a call, the phone will redial the number automatically. You will hear a ring-back tone when a successful call is placed.

When Auto Redial is set to Off, you must press and hold s to redial the last number dialed.

Setting Backlight Timer

The backlight illuminates the keypad and display when you receive or make calls or use the phone in poor lighting conditions. You can set the amount of time that the backlight stays on to 5, 10, 20, or 30 seconds, or set it to stay on continuously or stay off at all times.

1Press q, then scroll to Settings. Press C under SELECT. Press R to scroll to Initial Setup. Press C under SELECT.

2From the Initial Setup screen, press R to scroll to Backlight.

3Press C under CHANGE.
