Getting to Lock/Security...

1. Press Ä then press Smart Button to enter the menu system.

2. Press to scroll to Lock Secure and press Smart Button to select.

3. Press to scroll to the following features:

Auto

Lock Off l

Auto Lock

Turn this feature ON and your phone will automatically lock itself

each time the phone is turned OFF.

4.Press Smart Button to toggle Auto Lock Off or Auto Lock On.

5.Press ¼ to exit the menu, or you may scroll to other features.

Locking the Phone

You can lock your phone manually at any time to help prevent unwanted use. Once locked, you can leave the phone ON or turn it OFF and the phone will remain locked.

1.Press Ä then press and hold Þ. You will see: Lock?

2.Press Smart Button or Â. You will see: Locked.

Unlocking the Phone

Unlocking your phone is quick and easy. Once your phone is ON, just enter your three-digit code. Your factory programmed lock code is 123. If you’ve changed this code and can’t remember what it is, see View Lock Code on page 80.

You can still receive calls when the phone is locked. Follow these steps to answer an incoming call:

1.Enter your three-digit code.

2.Press Smart Button.

or

Press ¾ to answer the call.
