Locking the Phone

When the phone is idle, closing its rotator puts the phone into a “locked” state. You can access only these functions:

•acknowledge (but not answer) an incoming call

•receive and acknowledge messages and reminders

•view new messages and reminders

Unlocking the Phone

You can unlock the phone with the rotator closed to access additional functions.

Step		Result
1	Press and hold	Access the unlock function.
	UNLOCK.

2	Press OK (J).	Conﬁrm the unlock.
	or
	Press BACK (L).	Cancel the unlock.
