Configuring Wireless Security Settings

Configuration	Section 3

Field or Button	Description
Wireless MAC	Displays the Wireless MAC address of the unit. This is not the same
Address	as the WAN MAC address.
Apply	Click to save your settings.
Cancel	Click to cancel any changes.

Configuring Wireless Security Settings

The Wireless Security screen allows you to configure the security settings for your router. To access the screen, click Wireless > Security.

FieldDescription

SSID Broadcast Service Set Identifier (SSID). Broadcasts the SSID of the router to devices on your network. This enables wireless clients, such as a laptop, to receive the router’s SSID. If you don’t want the SSID to be broadcast, disable this feature. The default is enabled.
