Sets the value of an S-register, where r is the number of the S-register, and n is the value you want to set.

Values:

r = 0–5 (S1 is read only) , 7, 8, 10, 25, 32, 34,

50, 52-57, 75-77, 80;

n varies

 

Default: None

Reads the value of an S-register, where r is the number of the S-register.

Vn Terse/Verbose Result Codes Values: n = 0 or 1 Default: V1 (Verbose)

Controls whether the TA’s result codes display as digits (terse) or as words (verbose). (Use the Q command to enable or disable the display of result codes.)

V0 Enable terse result codes.

V1 Enable verbose result codes.

Xn Connect Messages

Values: n = 0-5

Default: X2 (Enable all messages) and

(Disable printing CLI with CONNECT message)

Selects the result code messages that the TA sends to the computer.

X0 Enables messages OK, CONNECT, RING, NO CARRIER, and ERROR (terse result codes 0–4).

X1 Enables all messages except BUSY (terse result codes 0–5,10–14,17–19, 28, and

32). If a call is placed to a busy line, NO CARRIER displays.

X2 Enables all messages (terse result codes 0– 5, 7, 10–14,17–19, 28, and 32).

X4 Disables printing Calling Line Identification (CLI) at the end of the CONNECT message line. This command does not affect X0, X1, nor X2.
