•*Unconfigured*indicates the d eviceis configured to use DHCP,
butDHCPfailedtoattainnetworkparameters.
•*Busy* indicates the deviceis configured to use DHCP and
currently is attempting to acquire networkparameters.
Click Properties...f or anyof the f ollowingreasons:
•Youneed to configure an unconfigured IP address.
•Youneed to change the current network parameters.
•Youpreviously used DHCP,but it is no longer available.
•Youare using DHCP and need to change the hostname of the
GPIB-ENET/100.
•The IPaddress/hostname column displays an exclamation
point (!)next to your GPIB-ENET/100, indicating a configuration
problem. Refer to the Verifying the Hostname section for help
resolving this problem.
•Youwant to add or change a comment to help identify the device.
Click Refreshi f you do not see your GPIB-ENET/100 in the list of
Ethernetdevices, or to discover a device that you recently added to the
subnet.
Click Exit if you are using DHCP and you do not need to change the
hostname of the GPIB-ENET/100, or if you are finished using the
NI Ethernet Device Configuration utility.
